When he stirs, the only thing he says is "Wow."

I chuckle and his arm comes up to hold me, but flops back down. His snores are loud like a bear’s. And they are deeply satisfying to hear, but impossible to sleep through. My tummy growls and I slip out from under his arm unnoticed, land nimbly on the ground, dress, fold his clothes neatly and place them beside him, then remove the picnic basket and peer inside. He has a table cloth on top, a thermos of coffee, Ziploc bags of rolls, cheese, sandwich meats, and my favorite ... sausage, covering what looks like two coffee cups and two plates. I spread the tablecloth and set the basket on top.

I walk to the edge of the landing zone and admire the view, waiting for Aurei to wake. The air is clean of pollution and I take a deep breath, hold it, then push it all the way out. Three times. Then I shake my shoulders hard and let it go.

I fucked up, but I survived and I learned more than one thing valuable.

Strong arms encircle me and loving lips kiss my neck as I’m pulled against the man who loves me so completely. My fingers interlock over our arms with his and he says. "You are the sweetest one."

"Mmm. You know what I was just thinking?"

  "No. What?"

  "We make beautiful music together."

He chuckles. "If grunts and moans are beautiful music, then yes, we do."

  "Let’s eat. I’m hungry."

He kisses my hair and releases me. I spin around inside his arms, pushup on my tiptoes and ask for a sweet peck. He puckers his lips then touches mine, then drapes his arm around my shoulder as we walk the short distance to the picnic blanket. Once there, I reach inside and begin to prepare makeshift roll sandwiches by placing alternate layers of the sandwich meat, sausage and cheese between the bread. Aurei sets the plates out and I load them up as I go. He pours us both another cup of coffee and waits to give me mine until I’ve finished. I place the empty Ziploc bags back in the picnic basket and reach for the cup he is holding out to me.

He’s sitting with his legs stretched out in front, crossed at the ankles, leaning on one arm. As I take it, he offers a toast. "Here’s to Mr. and Mrs. Moore. May we have a long, happy, life together filled with love and laughter."

"Oh my gosh!" I grin, take my cup and examine it. It is one side of a nesting pair. The handles are blue hearts. The cup Aurei handed me is the female side and says, Mrs. Moore. His cup is the male side and says, Mr. Moore. "Who’s the sweetest one?" I ask him. He grins and leans to me for a sweet peck. I give him a smirk kiss instead, pressing my lips against his, then I hold my cup up and we clink them. "I’ll drink to that."

He takes a long sip, then sets his down and picks up a sandwich, takes a hearty bite and munches happily, as he surveys his new toy. His foot rocks back and forth as he chews. I realize watching him, he’s really hungry, then realize we didn’t eat much yesterday. "What say you and I grab a bite to eat with James this afternoon. We can discuss the details of how I will somehow manage to improvise the bachelor party." I pop a sausage in my mouth and chew. "Man, these are good."

He nods. "Sounds good." Picks up his cup, drains it, takes another sandwich and goes back to studying his new bird.

I reach for the thermos and pour him another cup. We eat in silence. Happy and content, just to be together. When I’m finished, I lay my head in his lap and watch him finish the rest from this angle. I appreciate the muscle tone of his jaw and the way his Adam’s apple dances up and down as he swallows. When the food is gone, he lays back, crosses his arms and rests his head on the them. I move to lay beside him and we study the clouds that float by, letting our imaginations create dragons, elephants, horses, bumble bees and all sorts of crazy things. We laugh and argue over them, then we simply lay there and breathe together. After a little while, I start to hum and he asks what song is that?

  "Breathe, by Faith Hill."

  "Sing it."

I sing the first verse, then stop when he stands up. He leans down, helps me to my feet, takes me in his arms and begins to sway. I sing the rest of the lyrics wrapped up tight in his arms with my face listening to his heartbeat.

Neither of us have ever felt this way before and it’s so magical, the undeniable chemistry we have. We’re so close that sometimes we don’t need words. Our breath simply syncs with our love. When I finish, he’s kissing me again and our passion is soft and sweet. Letting our breath blow across each other’s cheeks in a long satisfying kiss. When he finally lets me go, he hugs me against his chest. Then he says, "We need to return."

  "I know."

"I’ll bring you here again real soon."

  "You promise?"

"I promise. This can be our safe zone. Our quiet zone."

  "I like that."

  He asks. "Ready?"

  "Yeah, I’m ready."

  "You good?"

"You know how good I am!" The sass in my voice makes him stiffen then he squeezes me too tight. I realize now that’s when he knew something was wrong yesterday. I pat his back reassuring him. "I’m good. As long as I know you are here. I’m good."

  "I’ll always be here."

I chuckle. "Till death do us part?"

  "Exactly!"

"Good, because I’m lost without you."

  Chapter Four

  Aurei:

Flying back to Vegas, I keep looking over at Siri to watch her. She’s taking in everything and enjoying herself. I catch her laughing at something that only she sees and marvel at her enthusiasm for life. To think that the motherfucker almost stole that from her, pisses me off all over again and I vow to make it my mission to see to it that he rots in the prison system for not only armed robbery, and kidnapping, but attempted murder too.

When we land at the airport, it’s late morning. I toss her the keys and tell her. "You drive. I need to work."

I bury myself in my phone, and only occasionally look up to see where we are. In no time, we’ve arrived and I’ve only scratched the surface of my emails.

She pulls up to the gate and puts the window down, but it swings open automatically. "Alfred?" She asks.

"No, automatic opener." I show her my phone app. "I need to hook you up with all my little goodies."

She drives up and into the garage. When we exit, and enter the house, she asks. "Can we sleep tonight in my condo after the party?"

"Sure. I’ll pack a change of clothes to keep there."

"We have a lot to sort out." She smiles as we make our way up the stairs to the master suite.

  "We’ll get through it."

She flops back on the bed to rest while I go about packing my backpack. "I’m sending James a text to meet us for dinner. Where would you like to eat?"

"I thought we were meeting at your condo."

"Oh hell no!" She laughs. "James is too dramatic for that. He’ll start to cry and I’ll start to cry and, no, a public place is much better."

"Whatever you think." I tell her.

"Come to think of it, let’s just pop in for a surprise visit to the Club, then if he isn’t too emotional, he can join us at Bart’s Steakhouse. That way, everyone will be happy to see me and we’ll get the 'OMFG’s WTH’s out of the way."

"Sounds like a positive plan of action."

  "Offense." She laughs.

"A surprise attack. I like it."

Her brow crinkles as she smirks. "Umm, I prefer ambush."

  "I like that too."

"Speaking of ambush and surprises, when do you want to tell everyone we are married?"

  "When do you?"

"Don’t answer my question with a question, please." She scolds me.

"I’m only asking because I thought you wanted to tell your parents first."

"I did, but now, I want the whole world to know." She holds her phone at arm’s length. "Going on offense." There’s a noticeable pause, then she clears her throat, and says. "Mama, Daddy. I finally found the perfect man for me!" She pats the bed next to her. "Come here." I flop down and make her bounce. Her happy squeal and then joyful giggles f
ills the air. "I want to introduce you to Bob and Zita Moore’s son, Maximus Aurelius Moore."

"It’s nice to meet you, sort of." I chuckle.

"We wanted to wait until you two got home, but sometimes certain things just can’t wait." She proceeds to tell them a really quick overview of how we met and how she fell in love at first sight. "I knew he was the one because he stole my breath away and I can’t live without my breath." Then she gives them an even briefer rundown of everything that’s happened with us since they left.

She turns her face to mine and I give her a sweet kiss, then I tell them. "Bruce, Carrie, I’m looking forward to meeting you both."

She wraps it up with the bombshell news. "I love you both very much, and I love this man too. He’s my hero. Literally, but that’s a long story for a different day." She looks at me and the love on her face is undeniable. She smiles at me, then back at her phone. "Mama, Daddy, Aurei and I eloped as soon as we arrived here in Vegas. We’re married!"

Then she turns the phone on me again. "Bruce, Carrie, I promise to love and protect your little girl for the rest of my life." I turn to face her sweet smile. "She’s my Every Thang."

She turns the phone back to her and says. "Call me when you have digested the news. See ya!"

  "Ciao."

She drops the phone and says. "Well, that went better than I thought."

I crack up. "It was video."

"Yeah, but it was still hard!"

I laugh. "My turn." I hold my phone out like she did and hit the video button then tell my parents. "I’m giving you this news this way, because it’s only fair to Bruce and Carrie, who are being told the same way. Siri and I got married as soon as we returned to Vegas. Love you two. Thanks for showing me what true love looks like. I was able to recognize it when I looked into her eyes." I turn to look into those crystal green, gorgeous eyes and she kisses me with loud smack.

Then turns my phone on her and says. "Zita, Bob, thanks for everything! Once my parents are Stateside again, we will all get together and truly celebrate. Promise. Ciao now!"

She turns the phone on me, and I frown into it. "Don’t call! We won’t answer. We are busy doing newlywed things." I end the video.

She cackles. "That went better than I dreamed too."

Her laughter makes me laugh aloud too. "I can see their faces now. T.M.I!"

We lay laughing and poking fun at our parents. How they will respond and what faces they will make when they watch the video, then we’re kissing again. Her tongue playing with mine.

She pulls away and sucks my bottom lip into her mouth, then rolls her tongue over it. Damn, that’s hot. Especially when she sucks the tip of my cock like that. Umm. She lets go.

"I like it when you suck my head that way." I confess.

  "You do?"

  "Mmm hmm."

She parts her lips and softly touches mine. I open my mouth and wait for her kiss. Her wet tongue slides across my bottom lip, then pushes into my mouth where my tongue lightly touches hers. She sweeps across it and then flicks back and forth, fast. She pulls it back inside her mouth and whisper against my lips. "I like it when you lick my clit like that."

  "You do?"

  "Mmm hmm."

I roll her over. Pull her yoga pants and shorts off and go down on her. "Like this?" I ask as I give her what she likes.

"Mmm hmm." Her hand comes to play with my hair as her other hand slides under her tank and pinches her tit tip. "Do your parents not know about yesterday?"

I look up, momentarily distracted by her question. Her eyes are closed and she is in the 'feeling good’ zone. Her safe zone. I go back down and answer. "No. I told my crew not to say a thing."

"Good." She leans up on one elbow and says. "Let’s fuck."

I laugh. "My little sex machine, let’s nap. You have big night ahead of you."

She falls back on the bed and sighs. "Ok."

  Chapter Five

  Siri:

When we arrive at my condo, I park in my designated spot and Aurei parks in the one that will be his from now on.

"I guess Cat resolved the parking issues." He chuckles.

  "No doubt."

"She was fired up and ready to whip someone." He tells me.

"No doubt about that either." I open my hand and he bonds us. "Let’s get Mr. and Mrs. parking signs for our spots."

  He chuckles.

Once inside my own space, I tell him as I spin around. "Home, Sweet, Home." Then I walk over to the pool and say. "It is a nice touch, isn’t it?"

  "Yes."

"I designed it myself, did I tell you that?"

"Yes. You did. It actually reflects who you are too."

His eyes follow me as I walk around inspecting each area and smiling. "How so?"

"You’re transparent, an open book, but you also have a certain mystic and uniqueness about you."

I smirk and raise my eyebrows with that analogy, then I laugh. "It’s just like I left it! Want a water or a brew?" I walk into the kitchen.

  "Sure. Water please."

When I open the refrigerator, I discover it’s empty. "Except here. This was full of food." I walk over to the pantry and discover it is empty too. "Well, there’s nothing here to eat either."

"I’m good. I can wait until we get to the restaurant."

"Yeah, but I need to hydrate." I walk into my workout area and open the media center cabinet. I pull out two bottles of water and walk over to hand one to Aurei. "My secret stash."

He takes it, tips it and we toast.

  "Here’s to secrets."

I laugh. "Everyone has them. Some are better at hiding them than others."

He twists the top off and chugs it, then he crushes it in his hand with attitude, making a loud noise and making me giggle. "Tough guy."

"That’s right!" He nods. "And don’t you forget it." His phone dings and he looks at it while he walks to the kitchen to throw away his bottle.

I set mine down, and mount my pole. It feels so fucking good to be back on one. I perform a few warm up moves before I begin putting myself through a quick but intense workout. If I’m going to be doing my last show, I want it to be spectacular.

When I slide down and dismount, Aurei says. "Diva Thang, I will never tire of watching you do that."

I walk over, arch my tits up and place them on his chest, then pucker my lips. He leans down gives me a quick peck. "I’m really looking forward to talking to James to find out what choreography he has in mind, and what ideas he has for my new gig. He knows I can’t just sing Whitney. I have to dance too. It’s who I am."

Aurei grins. "Let me unpack. I got distracted. Then we can go straight there. It won't take me just a second." He grabs his backpack, and walks to my closet.

I plop down on my favorite couch and watch My Golden God as he opens my closet, steps inside, then I hear him unzip his pack and hangers sliding as he puts his clothes away. I marvel at how efficient he moves and how easily he makes himself at home. He steps out after a little while and walks over.

  "Done. I’ve officially moved in."

"I love that about you. You’re easy to get along with."

"Not everyone would agree with that statement" He laughs. "As a matter of fact, you’re gonna get to meet someone tonight that will argue with you about that."

  "Really? Who?"

"Dirk Sam. We went to flight school together. I got a text from him while you were working out that he is in town. I invited him to come to the show."

"Awesome! Can’t wait to meet him."

He laughs. "He’s a real piece of work. He’s the one who tagged me Hard-Core."

"Oh! That’s interesting! Maybe we can invite him to dinner with us before the show."

  "What about James?"

"It’s too late to go over any real choreography. I’ll text him what I want to do on the way there. He’ll be too busy flittering around trying to get everything and everyone lined up to want to sit down much less eat a meal. It’s a much better plan t
o meet your friend for dinner."

He pulls his phone out to text his army buddy.

  Chapter Six

  Aurei:

*Sam I Am, how about meeting up at Bart’s Steakhouse in Been Jammin’? *

  *Perfect. Time? *

  *In 2 hours. *

  *You got it. *

"Dirk’s down for dinner. I told him in a couple of hours."

"Don’t hesitate coming to my rescue if I’m not free by then."

We walk out to the car and I open her door. She gets in and I close it, walk around and get behind the wheel. As I pull out, she takes her phone and begins text warfare with James. She narrates for me.

"Let’s incorporate the bachelor party as part of my last performance rather than before or after." She gives me her impression of James. "Hmm. I don’t know. What are you thinking?"

She gives him a list of the songs in the order she wants them with a brief description of what she envisions. I’m amazed at the ease with which she creates a production and just as amazed when James agrees and says. "Piece of cake. Now let’s chat about the Cirque do Soleil show." That discussion doesn’t go as smoothly. Siri envisions her entrance swinging in singing on a trapeze hoop, showing off her pole dancing skills, landing on the stage, and hitting a lively dance routine. While James envisioned her wearing a white gown and arriving through a pillar of smoke with strobe lights as if she were an angel from heaven coming down in a cloud, singing a 'to be determined' song.

"He clearly envisions the show competing with Celine and MJ, but I envision the competition to be Brittney and JLo. Competition isn’t the right term. It’s target audience. Their audience is our target. What do you think?"
